Meeting point: Brampton Valley Way, Welford Crossing, NN6 8AA
There is car parking opposite the Windhover.
Distance: 50 miles
Refreshment stop: Manor Farm Farmhouse Kitchen café.
Our next Sunday ride is on 18 October and takes us to the small village of Catthorpe and its attractive Manor Farm Farmhouse Kitchen café.
The 50-mile route goes out north via Naseby to Theddingworth in South Leicestershire, then south-west to Swinford and Catthorpe. After coffee, we traverse Hillmorton on the edge of Rugby, before turning south past Daventry to Welton, and then one more turn towards home. This is a surprisingly pleasant, rural route despite being near some of the country’s major road junctions. Full route details here
Couple of reminders:
- The ride will be in groups of 6 maximum.
- Please bring a mask in case you need to enter the building to use the toilet.
- If you’ve not done so already, I encourage you to consider downloading the NHS Covid-19 App to your smartphone. Hopefully it’ll never be needed, but it’s another precaution we can all take to help tracing in the event of any problems.
- Please remember to book this ride with me if you are coming along, so we can plan sufficient leaders.
Weather currently looks dry and calm, but fresh at around 8-11 degrees.
Meet Brampton Valley Way, 9.30 am.
Hope to see some of you there – just remember to book!
