I had no idea he had died. So sad.
Max was a great character and an extraordinary supporter of cycling. He was ever present during my years working at CTC whether it be the Birthday Rides, Meriden or any of the Member group conferences. I always valued his thoughts.
Do pass my best wishes and thoughts to all that knew him.
